Laundry

The bf's dryer sucks ass so I had 4 loads of laundry built up. Yesterday I decided to take it all to my mom's with my iPad and Harry Potter novel in tote. When I got there, my sis asked for a ride home from work. After I picked her up, we went to a McDonald's so I could see which Hello Kitty happy meal they had I stock. They ended up having one I already had.

Parked right outside, was a seatless bike! Who does that?! It can only be found in the ghetto on Harbor Blvd lol! After that pit stop, we went to The Block in Orange for a bit.

My sis trying on boots. She left empty handed.

I on the other hand, received a Jamba Juice (matcha green tea blast). My sis finally has a job so she was nice enough to treat me to some Jamba Juice.

After a quick browse, we had dinner with my mama. We went to Full moon for some sushi.

Volcano roll, tataki roll (spicy tuna with seared tuna on top), and crunchy roll.

After dinner, I finished up my laundry. I did 3 out of 4 lol! When I went home to my mom's, I had intentions of just doing laundry. I had no idea I would be spending time with family. It was nice way to spend my day off :)

Day 1

123lbs. Today, I officially start getting down to bizness. I signed up for the Surf City Half Marathon on February 5, 2012. No more crazy indulgences during the week; they must strictly be on cheat days only (weekends). Here's to getting back to my previous weight of 115 and to hopefully finish the marathon with a faster time than the last (2 hours 7 mins).

The extra weight is mostly in the belly and thighs :p

Finally!

I get to eat Asian food!

The bf woke up and the first thing he wants to do is go to his friend's house to play Warcraft *rolls eyes*. So I was just at home painting my nails (previous post) and streaming "Ghost Adventures" on Netflix. His sister had come over to pick up their mom so she asked if I wanted to join them shopping. We had just finished going to target and now we're eating pho.

It's so delicious!! When I'm with the bf, we hardly ever eat Asian food. I think since he's always eating his mom's food (I don't eat it much) he doesn't ever want to eat Asian food. I find myself craving for it esp when I see Giang post pics of Asian food often. Finally a day away from the bf and away from everything else but Asian food lol!

I bought the 2 year old nephew this 24 piece puzzle in which he put together really quickly! Such a smart cookie!

NOTD

After spending all night staring at the L'oréal "target red", I just had to paint it! It's such a pretty shade of red! After that I added a dash of OPI's "gettin' miss piggy with it." Looking at my nails gets me excited for Xmas! One of my fav holidays!

Quick Target Haul

When my twin Giang did this blogpost I was instantly sold lol! So I went to Target and saw this

I got lucky! One left of the Target Red Infallible Never Fail Lipcolour! Then just two of the polishes so I had to go ahead and buy one of those too! After that I also grabbed the two same shades of the lip butter (candy apple and lollipop) but also grabbed a third in sugar frosting. I wanted a light sheer one for everyday at work. When I got home, I swatched the lip butters on my lips and LOVED how moisturizing they were! Sorry I don't think I'd take pics of my lips haha! But Giang did swatch them all but sugar frosting. Check it out! These are definitely must haves! Thank you Giang for your post :)

Saturday afternoon

I spent the afternoon with the bf eating and looking for deals. We first started off at Paul's Coffee Shop which was featured Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.

When I saw eggnog on the menu, I just had to have some! I don't know any other Asians who like this. I guess because I'm pretty whitewashed (sorry if I offend anyone if I'm politically incorrect). I was raised by an Americanized Italian lady who babysat me from 7 months old til I was about 11.

I got French toast which I love. A dish my babysitter often made for me. The bf thinks it's funny that I tend to get French toast at every new restaurant we try. I can't help it! Lol! This place also offered some Hawaiian dishes such as spam & eggs, portuguese sausage, and loko moko. When I saw spam on the menu, I had to have that over sausage or bacon. The bf ordered corned beef hash with hash browns, eggs and biscuits & gravy.

We devoured pretty much everything! I also has some bites of his food!

After that, we headed to Marshall's because the bf needed some house slippers. Right when we turned the corner, I saw a McDonald's and quickly asked if we could go. I ran in to see which Hello Kitty happy meal toy they had. They had one I didn't have so I bought it. The guy asked, "Just a toy??" I said, "Yes." he must've thought I was crazy since I also paid with a Hello Kitty debit card lol!

I now have 3 out of 8. I only learned about these yesterday. As soon as my coworker told me, I went to McDonald's on my lunch break. My coworker was so sweet and gave me hers!

They also have holiday pie back! There's sprinkles on the outside and custard on the inside. It was yummy!

After that we went to Marshall's. Shortly after, I felt dizzy. I could never stay in there for long. The smells of all the clothes and the clutteredness is overwhelming for me. Same with stores such as forever21 so I normally just order online. Luckily we didn't stay long. After that, we stopped by the Donuttery.

This place has an amazing variety of donuts! First off they have 3 options: plain, glazed, or frosted. Then they have those options in all kinds of flavors such as red velvet, apple, blueberry, pumpkin, and strawberry to name a few. The red velvet also comes in chocolate frosting as an alternative to cream cheese frosting.

Bacon maple bars! I didn't get any of these though lol.

We ended up with a dozen. You can see some have the white frosting and the ones without are glazed.

Chocolate red velvet! After the stop for a snack, we went to Fry's to see if there were any good deals. We ended up leaving empty handed. Then I had one more request...

Milk & Honey's green tea shave ice with mochi and azuki red beans. After that, we just headed home and relaxed. Now I'm just blogging away at my nephew's house :p

Happy thanksgiving!

Just a bit late but better than never hehe. I hope everyone had a wonderful thanksgiving with friends and family! So Wednesday night, the bf and I spent the night at mom's (dogs included) and hung out with my lil sister. The next day I was up early for spin and body pump. Got a quick meal with the bf and sister at Hot Off the Grill.

After that it was all day cooking!

We're so Asian! We have to have the newspaper lol!

Slowly adding all the dishes. I didn't get a pic of everything cause I was too hungry and dug in right away lol!

My mom's Asian stuffing with vermicelli and veggies!

Cam whoring :p

Some of the food. Took me forever to mash the potatoes!! Two sacks full! Added in milk, garlic, parsley, and lots of butter! Corn I also made with garlic, butter, pepper, and a bit of milk.

My baby girl home after the long feast lol!

The boy. Hot or cold out, he is always under the blanket!

So my mom kept the food and I kept the desserts.

Last night I had leftovers lol!

You can see what she had her eye on. I hate her she's such a lil pig!
